ABSTRACT
This chapter considers the process and findings of the first intervention whilst introducing and reviewing the coremethodologies.While the three chosenmethodologieswere applied concurrently and the finding synthesised into a whole systems view of the problem situation (figure 20.1), the findings of each part of the intervention are described here sequentially. The synthesised view is elaborated in the next section. The use of the selected methodologies will reveal those aspects ofWestern Paperwhich appear to be important based on the initial conversation. They will not reveal some other aspects, and one challenge for any consultant conducting a review is to separate those things which are important and must be acted upon from those which are interesting but unimportant.
