ABSTRACT
The use of polling sheets could streamline the entry of scores from both the specialists and the urban dwellers or their representative. Typically the specialists would be practitioners in the field of urban design and planning. The matrix modelling template should be focused on a specific urban spatial component, such as the main street or the neighbourhood square. Select a Rating Panel comprising specialists whose collective proficiencies cover all of the spatial performance goals (SPG)s and planning primers (PP)s being listed in the matrix. Using the Spreadsheet for the main coordinates of the matrix, the spatial performance goals, are transposed as planning primers. The placing of the SPGs and PPs as coordinates in the matrix completes the preliminaries for the methodology. Rating scores of the PPs by the Rating Panel and weighting scores of the SPGs by the Weighting Panel could be on a selected basis, but scoring of all the entries should be of the prescribed uniform scale.
