ABSTRACT

Teambuilding games are exercises designed for groups to work through together, for the purpose of building cohesiveness, raising issues in the group, and posing challenges to the team. Teambuilding games encourage people to communicate, strategise and co-operate in order to achieve their goals; by encouraging learners to see and think differently, their brains are stimulated, improving the retention of learning. The group is organised into two teams, with two aliens and two people allocated as 'ray guns'. The group can work as one or more teams. The team members stand in a line and the back member of each team has the scarf as a tail. The head of the dragon has to catch the tail of the other dragon or catch its own tail; the chain of people cannot be broken. The task for the teams is to perform a routine or series of skipping exercises as a whole team.
