ABSTRACT
Several months later, I was sent to Cairns Base Hospital to a surgeon to have some investigation on my renal functions. Afterwards, I was advised to have an operation and perhaps to have a right nephrectomy, removal of the right kidney. After the operation, in the recovery room, the Surgeon came and saw me and advised me that the kidney was a healthy one and he didn’t remove it, but removed a renal cyst.
