ABSTRACT
One vital question we must ask is how much continuity is inevitable from early life, and how much change is possible as time goes on. We have seen that children are affected by earlier experiences, but also that they can build new experiences alongside past learning, can develop new expectations and new internal working models of relationships. This final chapter goes back over some of these issues and questions.
