ABSTRACT
Adolescents engage in many high-risk behaviors including alcohol and drug use (Jessor, 1984; Johnston, O’Malley & Bachman, 1987; McLaughlin, Baer, Pokorny, Burnside & Fairlie, 1985). These have been shown to be correlated with other risk behaviors such as sexual risk taking (Benthin et al, 1993; Centers for Disease Control, 1988; 1990; Donovan, Jessor & Costa, 1988; Hedges, Gerrard & Gibbons, 1995; Novello, 1988).
