ABSTRACT
This Section covers hazards in the workplace that are independent of the work processes and equipment used. It is plainly not possible to review all of the many different kinds of workplace that will be encountered – from shops to airport baggage handling areas, from control rooms to assembly lines, from hospitals to hotels – in principle, these are simply workplaces, where people spend most if not all of their working time.
