ABSTRACT
There is a great deal of information available on health and safety topics. The problem is that it is mostly unco-ordinated, in many places, and often written by specialists so that it cannot be easily understood by people who have to work with it. Information technology is moving towards the production of solutions to problems by the combination of many of these sources.
