ABSTRACT
The main direct legislation dealing with asbestos is the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006, which generally revoked all previous asbestos-related legislation. These Regulations are scheduled to be replaced during 2012, but at the time of printing (February 2012), the details of the new requirements have not been published. The reader is advised to check the HSE website for further information.
