ABSTRACT

In the discussion thus far, a general approach to ethical decisions has begun to emerge. Chapter 1 outlined the field of ethics, Chapters 2 and 3 described some alternative approaches, and Chapters 4 and 5 presented some theological and biblical concepts. We can now draw these concepts together and propose a system for making decisions on ethical issues. The framework for this approach is provided by Paul’s statement, “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that counts is faith working through love” (Galatians 5:6).
