ABSTRACT
Recent studies of electoral behavior have tended to put the variable of ageon the sidelines, focusing instead on the effects of factors such as ideology, worship attendance, and political sophistication. Unfortunately, this trend has had the effect of reducing age to a sort of theoretical afterthought in studies of voting behavior.
