ABSTRACT

In this collection of essays we have brought together contributors from a range of disciplinary backgrounds who have detailed knowledge of corporate governance in developing and emerging markets. The book combines analysis of corporate governance in the BRICS and MINT countries with a number of chapters which provide conceptual analysis and which deal with critical issues which cut across jurisdictions. In this concluding chapter, we identify a number of salient features of the discourse on corporate governance in emerging and developing countries which need to be addressed by both policymakers and scholars working in this field.
