ABSTRACT
Statistics is our nemesis only if we have unconsciously developed statisticophobia. Removing statistico-phobia and familiarizing ourselves with fundamental statistical terminology are two major hurdles we should overcome before we can make statistics useful for us. Our fear probably is caused by mathematical symbols, mostly Greek letters that may have scared us stiff, haunted us all our lives, and frequently marked us as a failure.
