ABSTRACT

Each scientific study is supposedly carried out on a systematic basis, to satisfy the rigorous scientific demands, but this is often not the case with the last step of a scientific endeavor-writing. Understandably, after an intellectually exhausting task, all creative energy may have been expended on the endless chores of literature review, research, administration, and data analysis. The last but not the least effort of a research endeavor is to present the findings in the best possible light to be disseminated to the widest possible audience. Making a last-ditch effort is well worthwhile-even though writing is a creative effort, it can be done methodically. Before committing anything to paper, it is advisable to conduct a thorough evaluation, evaluating (a) the objectives; (b) all attributes, variables, and hypotheses; (c) adequacy of the procedure and methods; (d) all operational definitions; (e) reliability and validity of the tests; and (f) findings.
