ABSTRACT
The major drawback o f the NPC study i s that no e x p l i c i t
a n a l y s i s was made to determine i f at a s p e c i f i e d p r i c e l e v e l ,
a pp r o pr i a t e d r i l l i n g a c t i v i t y w i l l take p l a c e . In other words ,
the NPC study es t i mates what the p r i c e o f o i l and gas w i l l have
to be in order f o r the gas and o i l i ndust ry to ac h i eve a g iven
r a t e o f re turn at a s p e c i f i e d l e v e l o f d r i l l i n g a c t i v i t y .
