ABSTRACT
Let me begin by saying that everything I say here is questionable and should be questioned. I want specifically to discuss ethics, and I will try to be more or less comprehensive within a very brief span. I'm an historian looking at ethical questions, and will concentrate chiefly on what ethics looks like to people in our particular historical tradition.
