ABSTRACT

Any attempt at formulation of a national policy for the forthcoming twenty-five years should begin with the dynamic and emerging concept of nationhood. It is one that is moving rapidly away from the collective egotism of the last century into a pattern of interdependence and co-operation. Nowhere is this dynamic view more essential than in regard to a prospective communications policy, for if there is one factor which has contributed more than anything else to the obsolescence of the old world order and the emergence of a community of interdependent nations. it is the modern means of communication.
