ABSTRACT
This is a bird’s-eye view of the text linguistic approach to Qur’anic discourse which highlights the major thoughts derived from the previous discussion in the chapters of this book. The present points of view can be of value to the notion of linguistic universality that binds languages from different language families. The discussion is also useful for contrastive text linguistics and translation studies.
