ABSTRACT
This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book explores the development of the Korean People’s Army (KPA), which has been the bulwark of the North Korean state since its inception. It discusses the analogous situation in the North, examining the implications of Kim Il Sung's sense of autonomy concerning the building of North Korea. The book argues that the KPA was created from two different genetic parents, including the brain of the Red Army along with the spirit and muscles of the People's Liberation Army (PLA). Based on Adrian R. Lewis thesis, human resources, experiences, leadership, strategic culture, and strategic thought were the crucial factors in the creation and performance of the KPA. At least one-third of the KPA soldiers were experienced warriors from the Soviet Red Army and the PLA.
