ABSTRACT
The psychiatrist initially assumed that the patient’s history was solely due to delusional beliefs, doubting the possibility of a Middle Eastern woman being involved in the media business and having political connections. The family confi rmed signifi cant elements of truth in her seemingly delusional content. Trauma and mood symptoms were apparent only after improvement in psychotic symptoms [1].
