ABSTRACT
Because of the variety of approaches to Blake, it is difficult, as F.R. Leavis has stated, to recommend a single introduction to Blake’s work. It seems to me, however, to be a matter more of levels of exposure or degrees of introduction than of whether there is one single work which “introduces” a student to all that Blake represents.
