ABSTRACT

The image of the corporation is reflected in every video the company produces, and the video manager is responsible for ensuring that anyone who appears on camera reflects that image appropriately. Departmental managers may have experience in public speaking and feel confident that they will perform well on camera. However, when the studio lights are on, when the cameras roll, and when all eyes of the crew are on them, their confidence can fly straight out of the window. An executive may try to convince the video producer that he or she can wing it once the cameras are rolling, but the producer will be doing him or her a favor by insisting on practice or a full rehearsal.
