ABSTRACT

This chapter examines the conditions of domestic migrant workers in Malaysia due to legal limitations and the absence of a qualifi ed social work service which leads to intolerable abuse. The cases of abuse of migrant workers and the violation of human rights has affected Malaysia’s world ranking in the Traffi cking in Persons Report of 2014(U.S. State Department). This chapter delineates the limitations and shares a few feasible suggestions for overcoming the issues.
