ABSTRACT
It is important for professionals who encounter perpetrators (and survivors) to be able to clearly identify the types of behaviors that constitute rape and sexual assault, in order to respond appropriately or confront it in perpetrators. This chapter thus identifies what perpetrators of intimate partner sexual violence (IPSV) may do, and the methods of coercion they frequently use.
