Intimate partner sexual violence and perpetrator programs: Project mirabal research findings

There is far more research on sex offender treatment programs – programs specifically for those convicted of sexual offenses – than there is known about the use of sexual violence by men in domestic violence perpetrator programs (DVPPs, known as batterer intervention programs in the US). However, given the widespread nature of sexual violence within domestic violence, it is clear that this is an important topic for DVPPs to be addressing.
