The notion of health tourism has been very well illustrated by Hall (2013: 12), who positioned fertility tourism (together with stem cell tourism, transplant tourism and abortion tourism) at the periphery of health and, as a more narrow concept (Smith and Puczkó, 2014), of medical tourism.
