ABSTRACT

It was in order to pick up the author's father who was badly drunk that she visited the Nashimotos. A sense of exhaustion would assault her entire body, making her feel too sluggish to do anything. When a cycle started, the desire for work which she had maintained until that moment was suddenly lost, and, feeling like abandoning everything, she would crawl into bed and stay there for days on end. During that time, all she did was eat; she did not even think about anything. There is a yellow-covered book called “The Atomic Bomb Hibakusha Special Handbook,” and those who possess a copy can receive a free physical checkup twice a year. But she have never been to a designated hospital.
