ABSTRACT
This section of the dialogues focuses on the application of technology, very broadly defined, to learning. Countering the common tendency in our field to jump to the potentials of various technologies and media, the positions urge caution and attention to the limits of technology and media in serving the real needs of learners. They range from the enduring need for teachers, to the potentials for online learning, to the implications of big data.
