ABSTRACT
In the fourth paragraph of Benjamin’s ‘prelude’, which is the focus of Berman’s third cahier, the noun Zusammenhang appears three times in short succession and is implied but elided on a fourth occasion. The related verb zusammenhängen also makes an appearance.
