ABSTRACT
This book has provided an introduction to the emergent field of global studies through a focus on how the interdisciplinary approaches employed in the field can illuminate key social and cultural processes associated with globalization. Beginning with an overview of the field itself and of essential debates surrounding these processes, the book then features nine case studies designed to represent the breadth and depth of global studies work by showing how concepts and theories can be put to use in a variety of ways.
