ABSTRACT
Second, domestic terrorism involves terrorist acts in which the actors and their ideology are from the country in which the terrorist acts occur. An example of this form of terrorism is in the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in which 167 people were killed and hundreds were injured.4 The act was carried out by Timothy McVeigh, a war veteran who sought revenge against the U.S. government for its actions against groups challenging the government.
