ABSTRACT

Although a means of formal assessment and analysis had not been included within the original grant and program design, by the midpoint of the pilot program, staff decided that a student evaluation should be developed and used throughout the remainder of the program. A short three-question evaluation was created and used at the completion of each of the sessions during the last four weeks. In addition to the written evaluations, the art teachers and several GVRC staff members were interviewed at the completion of the 12-week program.
