ABSTRACT
The previous chapter focused on the problems faced by nation-states and the emergence of megacities as primary players on the world stage. This chapter looks at the security implications of that environment in a climate change setting. This chapter extends some of the principal findings from the previous chapter, particularly with regard to the increasing power of nonstate actors.
