ABSTRACT

Because nature is made up of dynamic flows, all things are in a perpetual state of change. Some changes appear abrupt, some slow. The glass on your computer screen, for example, is actually a liquid—a very slow-moving liquid. Continents appear rock-solid, yet drift across a planet that is, itself, moving through space. Natural systems, plants, and animals either adapt or die, so they evolve to adapt. Like nature, the world of human enterprise is in continuous flux, and the same rule—adapt or die—also applies.
