ABSTRACT
I present a shortened list of the Eponyms of the kings relevant to this study, namely, Shalmaneser III, Shamshi-Adad V and Adad-nirari III. e list is based on A. Millard’s e Eponyms of the Assyrian Empire 910-612 bce (Millard 1994: 55-62) and J.-J. Glassner’s Mesopotamian Chronicles (Glassner 2005: 160-76).
