ABSTRACT
Well once upon a time, in uh...i...in olden times ya know, that's away back in pod auger days that is _ there was a...well there...there was a...family living well...we'll say up to...Sally's Cove, that's about ten mile from this. Well uh...th' ol' man said, he said “Well” he said uh...“we'll have to leave” _ he said “an' go out” he said uh...* “go out” he said “to the (city).” [aside to child: Shu[t]...shut up Kevin] “Go out” he said “to the city.” An' well _ th' ol' woman said “Yes” she said “we'll have to do something _ 'cause” she said “we got nothing to eat.” Well uh...Jack_ they had a little feller there, his name was Jack, they only had one...one...boy _ one child. “Well” he said “alright” he said “tomorrow morning” he said “we'll go.”
