ABSTRACT

As he is recalling the rhymed tale from his childhood, he has some difficulty with it, and, as he himself suspects, he does not get all the details right. The deliberateness of the recitation, punctuated by hesitations and misencodings here and there, shows that he finds it hard to remember, but it causes a great deal of amusement among the audience, which includes his wife and children, and he joins in, and so adds to, the merriment by laughing infectiously himself as he struggles to recall the lines.
