father. An' they killed un. Well now Black George . after they killed his father well he said he was

going to start in an' he was goin to kill...start in killin Indians. Well he started. -- An’ _ he killed a lot. An' by god - they catched un this time. -- An' _ they tied un hand an' foot. Now' they was goin to kill un uh...the...the next day. An' they got up in the morning now an' the Indians used...they...they used to have the...they used to have a chief see? An' the chief used to have his wife. Well now whatever uh...th' ol' chief or his wife 'd tell the other ones w-ell they had to do it see? Well now here they had the Black George tied. An' uh...they left next morning, now when they come back that night they was goina kill un. They left next morning well now their...their...th’ ol' chief left his wife an' another feller there to look after un see while they was gone. Well away they goes. An' after they've been gone about a half an hour -- th' ol' chiefs wife said “Well” she said “I forgot" she said “to tell me husband me dream.” She said “I never thought about it" she said “’fore he left. Now" she said “you [the guard] go” she said

“an' catch him" she said “and tell him.” Away he goes. After he'd been gone about ten minutes well she cut _ Black George clear an' she let un go see. (Well) now he's gone.
