ABSTRACT
One time there was uh.. Jack an' Tom. Well they lived in one place together. An' _ when they got big enough they _ got aboard of a vessel together. Well Tom ha...had very good education. Well he got a chance to go mate. Well Jack went...[as] a hand aboard an'...well they worked away like that _ an' be.. .sometime be four an' five months 'fore they get home. Well — by an' by _ Tom said to Jack _ “Now Jack” he said “if you was so willin as me” he said “we got a bit o' money” he said “we'd buy a vessel of our own _ and go tradin.”
