ABSTRACT
Well the next night now was the other feller's turn...'twas this feller's turn down th' other feller's house. So went down there you know. Bedtime come, this feller send her up for something up th' house. Feller went an' got under the bed. After they got turned in he began to ask her if there was anybody knowed anything about her. No. She said nobody knowed nothing about her. Well he said...he wouldn't believe her, he told her wouldn't believe her unless she put her hand out over the bed you know an' wished the devil 'd catch her by the hand _ if there was anybody knowed anything about her. Out she shuffed her hand you know an' she said _ "If there's anybody knows anything about me” she said “I wish the devil would catch me [by] the hand” this feller caught her hold an' _ “Only one only one only one!” she said. An' that's where...that's how they test out that!
