One of the key functions of the production manager is the creation and management of the
production budget. Your immediate supervisor, whether it is a producer or client, will expect
you to have intimate knowledge of the elements of the production and stay within the allocated funds for the project. This chapter will explain where funds come from and where they
should go, as well as techniques for tracking money and managing changes.
