ABSTRACT

I’ve chosen this little scene as the first of the slow moments because it’s fairly typical of a certain kind of situation, and quite a common one at that. ere’s a well-defined subject, even an unavoidable one, that’s not going to disappear, you’ve chosen the time and day and weather so that the light is good and interesting, and there are no obstructions like scaffolding, a horde of tourists or unexpectedly restricted access. Everything is in place and yet,

The Bodhi Tree, Bodh Gaya, Bihar, India there is still the nagging feeling of “is that it?” Is there nothing more special? Can I do more?
