ABSTRACT
Make-up can be just as important to creating a character/ cosplay as the costume, and make-up artist Jennifer McCollum uses her professional experience to complement her costuming hobby. “I would say [I’m] mainly an industry professional that also likes to dress up for conventions and other events in order to see smiles on people’s faces, especially children … [I’m able to] use [my] skills even when I am not on set, working in salons, or with brides, teaching at a community college in their film curriculum, and at conventions.”
