ABSTRACT

Regional fund grants also enabled CABE to deliver ‘quick wins’ by leveraging the work of others. This work was often quite ad hoc and included education workshops; exhibitions; lecture/seminar programmes; programmes of visits to buildings or places; publications (including web resources); production of educational resources; and community workshops. With matched funding from CABE, new areas of activity could be easily initiated, requiring much less in-house preparatory work from CABE and speeding up promising initiatives wherever they occurred (CABE 2007i; Annabel Jackson Associates 2007).
