ABSTRACT
In conjunction with the story of the Macedonian king, Ibn ণassnjl also dwells on the story of Alexander’s adviser (vizier; wazƯr), the Greek philosopher Aristotle, who was viewed by Muslim scholars as a model for wisdom and learning.135 In this matter Ibn ণassnjl follows the Persian historical narrative of his day.
