ABSTRACT
As a member of the World Future Society, Doris Bergen has continued to read the organization’s journal, which includes predictions from futurists about how society will function in the latter part of this century and beyond. One of the most important questions she has contemplated is, “How do you think children will be playing in the year 2050?” For futurists there are numerous factors existing at any one time that have the potential to affect later events and they weigh these factors differently in their predictions.
