ABSTRACT
Anticipating the effects of natural and artificial light can fundamentally affect design choices. We might learn from professional photographers who understand the value of light. When photographing exterior subjects, they sometimes wait days, weeks, or even seasons for the optimal lighting conditions. On the other hand, when photographing interiors, it is surprising how they may completely change the existing lighting conditions with an additional array of artificial lights.
