ABSTRACT

The word Lokomotiv was a suffix used by railway clubs – Kazanka (Moscow-Kazan railway) established in 1922; the October Revolution Club (KOR) that was playing during the period 1923-1930; and then again Kazanka (Moscow-Kazan railway) playing during the period 1931-1935. In fact, the Lokomotiv fan community celebrates the team’s birthday twice every year, since 12 August is close to the Day of the Railway Worker, which is celebrated on the first Sunday in August.
