ABSTRACT
The accreditation requirements of the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) for practicum and internship require that counseling students receive both individual and group supervision throughout the course of their field site-based experiences. Although these supervision processes may be conducted by both university-based faculty and field site-based supervisors, the focus on understanding and applying identified counseling skills is a common goal. In this chapter we focus on the practices and activities that are likely to be included in the group supervision classes during the practicum and internship.
