ABSTRACT
We can now draw out the overall lessons and recommendations from the arguments of the previous chapters. What has been remarkable is how concepts of a different nature, namely the analysis of urban form and societal goals, can be brought together and how apparent paradoxes in the design of cities can be resolved. There have also been some unexpected, though beneficial, results.
